Recruitment of Staff

The University employs both local and international academics and professionals graduated from reputable accredited institutions of higher learning for its teaching, research and other scholarly activities as well as administrative and support staff for the various faculties/divisions/departments. 

The recruitment of staff is an on-going process with the rapid expansion of the University and job vacancies are posted in UTAR website and advertised in the local newspapers. Potential candidates may apply for positions with the University by writing in with their curriculum vitae together with copies of all supporting documents or apply on-line. UTAR also accepts walk-in applications.

It has come to the University's attention of a potential recruitment scam.

This scam involves fraudulent solicitation of information which required the potential job applicant to fill up an attached job application form in an email sent to them, for disclosure of their personal data / information.

We would like to advise all potential job applicants to pay attention to the domain name of the correspondence email address(s), and to only communicate with email address which carry the University domain name (@utar.edu.my) for all vacancy / job application related matters.
